Further away between the town and Trowbridge is Stowford Manor Farm which is a small family run camp site with the river Frome on one side next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. 200 metres downstream from the campsite is the only river swimming club in the country and you can become an instant member for a small fee. Bed and breakfast is available in the Mill House where the bedrooms overlook the tranquil setting of the garden and the river. A family suite is available that can accommodate up to a family of 5 is also available.
