Hotels in Amesbury Wiltshire

Hotels in Amesbury Wiltshire, a small country town are mostly located close to the centre

Amesbury is the main population centre for the area and less than ten minutes drive from the car park at the World Heritage site of Stonehenge.
There are three hotels in Amesbury, The Antrobus Arms Hotel, the George Hotel and the Fairlawn. A Holiday Inn is on the Solstice Business Park away from the centre and there are two hotels within ten minutes drive, the Redhouse Hotel and the Parkhouse Motel, just outside the village of Cholderton

Ample off-road car parking facilities are available at Amesbury’s premier Antrobus Arms Hotel, long established with a good reputation and recently refurbished. The hotel boasts the somewhat unique fact that the Beatles stayed there in the 60’s whilst filming ‘Help’ on Salisbury Plain and occupied Room No. 20! The twenty-room Antrobus Arms hotel offers an excellent dining experience in beautiful surroundings with a wide selection of meals and wines and is particularly proud of the quality of its Real Ales.

Outside of the town is the Parkhouse Motel on the Cholderton roundabout close to the A303 and the Redhouse Hotel which are both about 10 minutes drive west along the dual carriageway to Stonehenge
