Cotswold Water Park is Britain’s largest man made group of lakes. It is 50% larger than the Norfolk Broads and covers an area of 40 square miles. There are 132 lakes which are flooded quarries and although extraction continues the emphasis of the area is very much on leisure activities



The Water Park is set in beautiful countryside and makes an ideal centre for families. There is something for everyone. It is ideal for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts and as well as cycling, walking and bird-watching the Water Park provides water based activities including wind surfing, angling, sailing, canoeing, sub-aqua and power boating. There is plenty of accommodation in Cotswold Water Park. B&B;, self catering, hotel accommodation and camping facilities are all available within the Park itself.



Notably the modern and well appointed Four Pillars Hotel overlooks one of the many lakes. If you are planning to stay in the Cotswold Water Park for the weekend or perhaps longer there is plenty of self-catering available within the Park itself. Camping facilities are also available. From simple wooden cabins to luxury lakeside living there is something for everyone.

Outside but within easy reach of the Water Park there is also plenty of accommodation available in the surrounding villages. There are many small informal and very friendly Wiltshire B&B;’s and guest houses offering excellent value for money to the south of the Water Park. You can be sure of a comfortable stay and all welcome families.



Within easy reach of Cotswold Waters Park is the four star rated Manor Farm Quality Bed and Breakfast. A working farm in the village of Corton close to Malmesbury in north Wiltshire you can be sure of a warm welcome from the owners John and Ross Eavis.

Alternatively there is five star self-catering available in Manor Farm Cottage. There is also a recently refurbished bungalow, particularly well suited to families, next door to the farm.




Another B&B; offering one family and one double room and very close to the Cotswold Water Park is Wheatleys Farm. This is a 500 acre working farm on the edge of Ashton Keynes farmed by Gill and Adrian.



Self catering – Only 15 minutes drive areThe Old Park Farm Cottages. Ruth and Richard Baker welcome you to their cosy cottages on their working farm close to Malmesbury and its Abbey Gardens. Families are made very welcome and the cottages boast super-king size beds. As well as the two holiday cottage accommodation B&B; is also offered.



On the outskirts of the Water Park is the village of Oaksey. Just a short walk from the village and set within the grounds of a 9 hole golf course are the Oaksey Park Country Cottages. These newly built two and three bedroom cottages are the last word in luxury. Perfect for family holidays, special occasions and weekend breaks at any time of the year.
