Description

The Ship Inn is situated in the delightful village of Burcombe in the Nadder Valley, just 5 miles west of Salisbury on the main A30 route to SW England, one mile out of Wilton.

The pub is surrounded by rollling hills and is ideal for walking and cycling. Burcombe is a welcome stop enroute to Southwest England and there are two good bed and breakfasts in the village.

The Ship Inn at Burcombe is a 17th century village pub with low ceilings, oak beams and a large open fire. In the summer months, the riverside garden is a great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner in the company of the local ducks.

The Ship Inn is mentioned in many of the popular guide books: The Michelin Eating Out in Pubs 2009, The AA Pub Guide 2009, The Good Pub Guide 2009.

FOOD
Modern British food is served at the Ship Inn with the emphasis on fresh, local produce and seasonal influences. The main menu changes each season and the specials board is changed twice daily.
There is also a selection of lightbites at lunchtimes, except for Sundays. Every Sunday we serve our traditional roast option.

DRINKS
We have a minimum of the ever popular real ales as well as lagers, cider and bottled beers, a selection of soft drinks and quality coffees.
We serve a good range of malt whiskies, unusual spirits, liquers, vintage Ports and Cognacs as well as an extensive wine list which include a good choice of wines from the new and old world many of which are available by the glass.

OPENING TIMES
Monday to Saturday : 11am - 3pm and 6pm - 11pm
