We are BHS approved, open all year round and offer riding and instruction for individuals and groups from the young novice to the experienced rider.We ride from the centre to one of our delightful locations across Salisbury Plain, the Great Ridge Woodland to Cranborne Chase or the Longleat estate where local farmers accommodate both horses and riders. Small groups of riders, living as family and taking part in caring for the horses has made our short holidays enormously popular. Length of day rides are tailored to suit the group needs. Some experience with horses is advisable. Our regular riding takes place all year round but at different times of the year we offer something special for example: Bluebell Rides - Riding through the beautiful bluebells carpeting the Great Ridge woodland is a treat not to be missed, they appear towards the end of April and are in full flower for 2- 3 weeks. Rides arranged to suit all ability levels. For the younger generation we have ‘Own a Pony’courses from 1 to 5 days where everyone is encouraged to get involved in all aspects of riding and stable management. We also run special courses to introduce you to some other elements of riding. What about trying side-saddle, driving or cross country Individual or group riding lessons for both adults and children are available in our outdoor school.
