A warm welcome awaits you at this family run Bed and Breakfast. Situated in the quiet and peaceful yet very accessible village of Codford St. Mary, in the Wylye Valley, Glebe Cottage makes the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Take time to explore the surrounding paths, fields, river, woodland and maze of country lanes with hedgerows abundant with wildflowers and birds. Enjoy the area’s attractions or simply relax in the garden.

Glebe Cottage was originally built in about 1750 at the end of Church Lane opposite the former Rectory. The name Glebe refers to the fact that the word means ‘part of the clergyman’s benefice’ and thus the cottage was in the ownership of the benefice of St Mary's Church.

Codford St Mary makes an ideal base for exploring the West Country and all the Wiltshire attractions as the A36 Bristol to Southampton passes close to the south side of the village.

Both the M4 and M3 motorways are about 30 miles away. Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House and Gardens, the cathedral city of Salisbury to name but a few are all within easy reach of the village.

Glebe Cottage has 4-star Visit Britain rating and visitors are accommodated in a separate wing, assured of privacy and a very warm welcome and facilities included comply with the 4-star grading award.
