Rooms are let to single people for £45 per night There is a sitting room available for guests. We expect a 50% deposit in advance in order to secure a booking. This is non refundable unless the cancellation is made more than 28 days in advance. Set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings, Stowford Manor also makes an excellent base from which to explore Wiltshire. Bradford on Avon, one of the most attractive and unique of the small weaving towns, is only five minutes drive and 15 mins away is the City of Bath with its Roman Baths, beautiful Georgian architecture and excellent shopping facilities, just over the border in Somerset. World Heritage Sites of Avebury and Stonehenge, the White Horses of the Pewsey Vale in the heart of Wiltshire, the stately homes of Longleat and Wilton house and the cathedral city of Salisbury are all within easy reach. Caravan and Camping - Open Easter till end-Oct Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Facilites include a 3 unit toilet block and a recently renovated stable block which contains showers, sinks, washing up facilities with free hot and cold running water. 200 metres downstream from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford which boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee! We expect a 50% deposit at the time of booking, which is only returnable if the cancellation is more than 28 days before the booked date.
