Woodfalls Inn is at the Hampshire Wiltshire county border on the edge of the New Forest. There is much to see and do around the area. Activities include fishing, golf, hiking, horse riding, sightseeing, rambling.

Breamore House and Countryside Museum is in the next village and less than 2 miles away. Ten minutes drive is the medieval city of Salisbury which today is a busy working cathedral city with a twice-weekly market, a monthly Farmers Market and an occasional French market and of course Salisbury Cathedral with its soaring spire, the highest in England, which is one of the most famous and spectacular cathedrals in the country.

Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest, with its world famous National Motor Museum, is one of England’s top day visitor attractions and well worth a visit. Closer is Broadlands, home of Lord Mountbatten of Burma, on the edge of Romsey, to the east. A great day out for all the family is Paultons Park, which has over 50 different attractions and rides, also at Romsey

The south coast towns of Bournemouth and Poole with their miles of golden sands and excellent shopping and entertainment are both within easy reach.
