Additional FeaturesGo KartingDriving Experiences DescriptionLocated 10 minutes drive west of Salisbury on the main Blandford road is Wessex Raceway, the largest indoor karting track outside of London.Over 750 events are held each year at Wessex Raceway and more than 4,000 children a year are trained at Wessex Raceway. Junior Training and Family Karting If your child is aged between 8 and 13 and they haven’t been on our track before, then they need to be trained. As well as our regular Sunday training sessions, during the School Holidays we will be running regular training sessions during the week. Training sessions comprise 30 minutes of track time with the first 10 minute session on the track with a marshal. Session times may vary so it is important that you contact us to find out the specific start times on the day you wish to come. We offer freshly-laundered race suits and balaclavas for each event. Off of the track we offer a range of exceptional facilities including extensive bar and restaurant, conveniently located male and female changing facilities including showers, toilets and lockers. We also cater for conferences and private parties up to 80 people. In 2007 we opened a unique indoor laser combat facility in the unit next door to Wessex Raceway. With a level of realism that has never before been possible, Virtual Warfare is unlike anything you have ever seen before. Whether you just turn up and shoot or want to book something more challenging, Virtual Warfare is so flexible that we cater for anyone from 7 year olds all the way through to combat veterans!
