Additional FeaturesFarm shopDescriptionWe are a small working Community Farm on the outskirts of the ancient city of Salisbury. The farm consists of around 84 acres in total, including land on the nearby chalk downs The water meadows adjacent to the farm yard area are also used for grazing our livestock.There is a short nature trail walk through the water meadows where many kinds of wild flowers and berries can be found in season. Back in the farm yard there are animal pens for housing calves, traditional rare breeds of pigs, and Golden Guernsey Goats. Recently we have planted an orchard which will produce fruit for the farm shop. In the orchards, we have flocks of Lohman Brown hens that provide the farm with fresh, free range eggs. Adjacent to the orchard are bee hives managed by a local bee keeper producing delicious honey. All produce can be found for sale in our farm shop. We will be offering traditional skills and countryside educational workshops in 2011. We have facilities for school educational and enrichment parties or just come and visit us and take a stroll around the farm.
