Description

Salisbury City – Set within this medieval city Fisherton Mill houses the South of England's largest independent Art Gallery.

The Gallery exhibits work by leading artists, sculpture and furniture makers and the Gallery Shop displays glassworks, ceramics, textiles, metalworks and cards.

Close to the centre of this historic city Fisherton Mill was built as a grain mill in 1880 and still retains many original features. As well as the Gallery and Café the Mill is host to a variety of independent businesses within studio offices, has a meeting room, offers catering and is a fabulous venue for a function or party.

An easy walk from Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Market & Salisbury railway station it is a ‘must see’ destination within Salisbury city centre

The Gallery Café
This is situated on the ground floor. All the food is prepared by chef proprietor Michael Fox, using fresh ingredients and the menu is exciting and modern!

Open Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm
Saturday 9.30am – 5.30pm

The Gallery Cafe opens for evening dining one weekend a month, on a Friday and Saturday. Relaxed and informal, the 'Dining Club' is ideal for an intimate evening out or for a group gathering to enjoy fresh modern cooking and great wines.

The menu changes each month offering seasonal produce including fresh meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

For further details and Evening Dining dates please click on Visit Website button at the top of the page or phone Michael or Karen on 01722 500200.

The Beams Gallery can be hired for private or business functions as a meeting/conference room with or without catering. Being an unusual building and space it is very different from standard conference facilities and will give your function that extra special quality.

Spread over three floors and a courtyard the Gallery retains many of the Mill’s original features, which makes for a very unique setting. The beamed ceilings, cast iron pillars, and fine old pieces of machinery will add to your visit as you enjoy the wide range of art on display.

The Gallery continuously shows work in the exhibition spaces by leading artists, sculptors and furniture makers.

The Gallery Shop
The shop stocks an array of accessories, both functional and decorative. Including ceramics, textiles, glasswork, jewellery and unframed prints as well as cards and carefully selected gifts, which complement the art work.
