An old wooden bridge where Post Coach horses were watered at the riverside gave the inn its name.Open all day 11.30am till 11pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday We now have a superb new extension, offering more space for the family to dine in comfort, overlooking our safely enclosed garden. So now you really can relax and enjoy a quiet drink, while you keep an eye on the kids! Lunch - served Monday to Thursday 12noon till 2.30pm Dinner - Served Monday to Thursday 6.30pm till 9.30pm Friday and Saturday - 12noon till 9.30pm Sunday - 1200noon till 9.00pm CAMPING Adjoining the inn we have a campsite and the river Avon runs at the bottom of the site. If you fancy a spot of fishing daily tickets can be arranged at the nearby fish farm. The spot is ideally located and is within easy reach of ancient and not so ancient historic sites of Avebury, Stonehenge, the medieval towns of Devizes and Marlborough, the cathedral city of Salisbury with its spectacular spire which can be reached along the beautiful Avon valley. Nearby there are wonderful views, walking, horse riding and the peaceful and tranquil Kennet and Avon canal. The Woodbridge Inn site forms a perfect stopping off point to unwind enroute to the south coast or southwest England.
