Our thatch is said to be the steepest in Wiltshire.Whether you are enjoying a pint or stopping off for a spot of lunch or evening meal you can be sure of a warm welcome. We sell quality real Ales and change our ales throughout the year. We have a bar and lounge with an open fire which is always burning on cold winters nights and a beautiful garden to be enjoyed. Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 12 noon – 2.30 pm and 6pm – Close Sunday 12 noon – 2.30 pm and 7pm – Close During the Winter we close Monday lunch-times. Food is served Tuesday to Saturday 12noon – 2.30pm and 6 pm – 9 pm And on Sunday 12 noon -2.30pm only (our kitchens are closed Sunday evening and all day Monday) The Barn We have a room to hire, separated from the pub, which is ideal for parties and functions with Food and Bar services if required. Campsite Why not park up or camp out for the night at our small but informal campsite at the back of The Golden Swan and join us for a pint or a meal. Facilities include toilets with a washroom containing a shower. We charge between £6 and £10 per night depending on the size of pitch. The village of Wilcot is well placed to explore the beautiful canal and Pewsey Vale and as a stopping off point in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside. Unwind along the canal towpath on foot or bike with nothing but the occasional chug chug of a passing canal barge. There are fast rail connections to London and the West country from nearby Pewsey.
