Race training is the major industry, horse gallops abound and this forms the colourful theme of the restaurant. Silks' owners have captured the spirit of the area in the racing silks that adorn the walls. Relaxed and comfortable the Silks provide a service that is both unobtrusive yet professional. We take a great deal of pride in producing food from around the world using fresh seasonal ingredients that are simply cooked with the emphasis on flavour and presentation. All our dishes (including desserts) are prepared on the premises and local ingredients and suppliers are used whenever possible. We serve a selection of real local ales, ciders, continental lagers and boast an exciting selection of wines from around the world. Champagne served by the glass or bottle of course!
