Description

Our two fully equipped self-catering cottages are set in 10 acres of the beautiful Vale of Pewsey and from July 2008 we shall also offer 2 new 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom lodges with a lake view.

Ideal for walkers and cyclists we are situated less than half a mile from the Kennet and Avon canal. A few minutes walk is the village shop and a pub restaurant which provides lunch and dinner from a varied menu.

We are a few minutes drive from the famous Barge Inn at Honeystreet, overlooked by the famous White Horse carved into the chalk hillside on the White Horse Trail.

FISHING
We have two well stocked private fishing lakes available to guests in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the small peaceful village of All Cannings and yet we are only an hour and a half from London.

Our lodges are wheelchair friendly as is our private fishing.

LOCATION
Pewsey Vale is the ideal base for walking, cycling and horse-riding with an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways available. The entire area is steeped in history with Iron-Age hill forts, famous White Horses carved into the hillsides, ancient burial mounds and barrows everywhere.

The spectacular Neolithic Stone Circles of Avebury, older, more accessible and thought by many to be a much more interesting visit than Stonehenge, is within easy reach and nearby, in the historic medieval town of Devizes, is the Wiltshire Heritage Museum, one of the finest museums in England
