Description

We invite you to enjoy the peaceful countryside surrounding our cosy 18th century farmhouse, set in the beautiful unspoilt Box Valley.

Our family run dairy farm borders the Bybrook, creating a natural sanctuary for waterfowl and wildlife which can be observed from the scenic footpaths meandering alongside the brook and through the meadows.

We have two double rooms, one ensuite the other with private bathroom and a comfortable guest lounge/diner with original stone fireplace, colour television and central heating.

Enjoy a traditional English breakfast in our cosy farmhouse dining room where Vegetarian and continental Breakfast are also served. In the evening the villages of Box and Colerne offer a choice of good pub and restaurant meals.

Closely situated to the Georgian city of Bath, Saltbox Farm provides an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful villages of Castle Combe, Biddestone and Lacock. Wiltshire’s ancient monuments, Avebury and Stonehenge, its White Horses and the Long-Barrow are all within striking distance, while the attractive town of Bradford-on-Avon and the Cotswold towns offer contrasting sights of historical interest.
There is ample parking available and a pretty garden offering the opportunity to relax.

Children welcome.
