DescriptionSet in the beautiful Box valley beneath the Cotswolds this farmstay B&B is a sanctuary for wildlife offering scenic walking along the Bybrook and into lush meadows.
This cosy 18th century farmhouse, Saltbox Farm, near to Georgian city of Bath provides an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful villages of Castle Combe, Biddestone and Lacock. Wiltshire’s ancient monuments, Avebury and Stonehenge, its White Horses and the Long-Barrow are all within striking distance, while the attractive town of Bradford-on-Avon and the Cotswold towns offer contrasting sights of historical interest.
We have two double rooms, one ensuite the other with private bathroom and a comfortable guest lounge/diner with original stone fireplace, colour television and central heating.
Enjoy a traditional English breakfast in our cosy farmhouse dining room where Vegetarian and continental Breakfast are also served.
In the evening the villages of Box and Colerne offer a choice of good pub and restaurant meals.
There is ample parking available and a pretty garden offering the opportunity to relax.

Take A4 towards Chippenham, take left fork at Box traffic lights (A4) first turning left into Mill Lane continue under railway arch, up hill, 1st sharp right, then 2nd left, farm on left.
Directions from Junction 18 M4
Take A46 towards Bath, at large roundabout turn left on to A420 towards Chippenham, continue until you reach Shoe hamlet, turn right for Colerne then first left at bottom of hill and follow to crossroads, then straight across into Colerne village, after garage turn left into Vicarage Lane by church and continue on road to Drewetts Mill for 1 mile, 1st farm on right. We are 11 miles from junction 18.
