Off Frome Road
DescriptionThe park is a 36 acre countryside estate acquired by Wiltshire Council in 1971 and is open to visitors all the year round free of charge.
The entrance is on the Frome Road and there is a lovely canalside walk into the park.
Walking, rowing and fishing with galleries and tea rooms at the barn. The granary and tithe barn, one of the best preserved in the country, are close to the entrance to the park and date back to the 14th century.
The country park is free has both recreational areas to enjoy as well as wildlife rich areas which support a variety of small mammals, birds and insects. It is bounded by the Kennet and Avon Canal and River Avon which runs through the centre of Bradford on Avon.
