Description

This unique location in the centre of Avebury is an ideal start point for a guided tour of the largest prehistoric stone circle in the world.

This unparalleled setting is the reason we stock the best quality merchandise.

Originally three medieval cottages, the building which is now the Henge Shop was enlarged and heightened in the 17th century. It was thatched until the early 20th century and is constructed of sarsen stone, chalk blocks and brick. It features on Stukeley's map of Avebury of 1723 and has served as the village fire station and post office.

The shop has a wide choice of quality goods on offer, mostly sourced from the British Isles.
Examples of items sold are gold, silver and pewter jewellery, local pottery, Irish sweaters, Scottish woollens, T-shirts and memorabilia, fossils and minerals.

We have over 300 suppliers and we still sell Kendal mint cake... It is an Aladdin's cave with something for everyone.
